1997 Annual Theme:
Citizenship in the World Order of Bahá’u’lláh: Focus on the
Institutions
 The
National Spiritual Assembly chose the theme “Citizenship in the World
Order of Bahá’u’lláh: Focus on the Institutions” for Bahá’í
Schools as 1997’s theme for school programs.
A thought expressed by the Universal House of Justice may shed some light
on this concept: “It can therefore be deduced that the importance
of the Bahá’í administration is its value in
serving as a facilitator of the emergence and maintenance of community
life in a wholly new mode, and in catering to the requirements of the
spiritual relationships which flow from love and unity among the friends”
(letter of May 19, 1994, 33).
We are pleased to share with you the 1997 annual theme document —
a curriculum guide prepared for regional and permanent Bahá’í
schools.
It has been divided into sections to make downloading easier. If you
have a high capacity computer you will find the complete document under
item five.
