2000 Annual Theme: Cultivating Distinction

2000 Annual Theme Cover“To meet the challenge of preparing for a new millennium the National Spiritual Assembly asks that the Bahá’ís throughout the nation engage in a two-year study of the writings to gain a clear vision of the entire process of spiritual and social evolution under the Dispensation of Bahá’u’lláh.

Beginning in January 2000 the community is to focus its study for three months on Shoghi Effendi’s The Dispensation of Bahá’u’lláh, followed by study of The Advent of Divine Justice for three months, and the remaining letters in The World Order of Bahá’u’lláh for the final six months. During the second year, study will focus on the Epistle to the Son of the Wolf and The Secret of Divine Civilization.”

We are pleased to share with you the annual theme document PDF icon (PDF* 613KB) — a curriculum guide prepared for regional and permanent Bahá’í schools. The compilation is based on themes found in The Dispensation of Bahá’u’lláh, The Advent of Divine Justice and The World Order of Bahá’u’lláh. We hope that individuals and communities will find it a useful and inspiring resource to begin preparing study classes.
