Location: Beachside Resort and Conference Center
at Pensacola Beach
Theme: Lighting the Way: Blazoning the Name of Baháulláh
Speakers:
Dr. Jane Failey who has served on the Auxiliary Board and
the National Spiritual Assembly of Canada. With Baháí parents from
Persian and American backgrounds, she received training from an early
age to prepare her for service to the Cause, including intense drill in
the art of speaking. Her near legendary facility to enchant an audience
is eclipsed, however, by the wisdom born of years spent in service to
the Cause of God.
Tim Tyson, Director of the National Teaching Committees Media Campaign, who draws upon nearly 20 years experience with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in news media outreach, congressional activities and technology transfer. A journalist by profession with diverse background in news radio, television and newspapers, Tim, with the direction and guidance of the National Spiritual Assembly, has been working to implement the next stage of integration between activities at the national and local levels.
