This summer school is Heartland's 20th - help us celebrate!

CLASSES: A study of the Institution of the Continental Counselors and the National Spiritual Assemblies led by Karen Lavazza. Study of the Summons of the Lord of Hosts led by Jay Mahindra and Mary Lou and Aden Launcher.

The Northfield Inn is offering a rate of $60.50/night, tax included, for up to 4 persons per room. Free continental breakfast. Hotel has a swimming pool. Ask for the “Heartland Bahá’í School Rate.”

Theme: Lighting the Way: Blazoning the Name of Bahá’u’lláh
Join your area Bahá’í family in recreation, study, and prayer together, a chance to experience Bahá’í Community life.

Featured programs:

  • Dr. Curtis Russell, Regional Council Member will be guiding us in a study of the Life of Bahá’u’lláh, with the aim of helping us fall in love with the Manifestation of God.
  • Dr. Mary Kate Yntema will again lead us in a study of the World Order letters of Shoghi Effendi as recommended by the Universal House of Justice.
  • Karen Lavazza will help us to see the meaning of historical events in the 20th Century by leading a study of the “Century of Light”.
  • Other programs will feature Stories of Bahá’u’lláh, the Meaning of the Lesser Peace and the Unity of Nations, the Purpose of Huququ’lláh, an evening Book Share, sharing with each other about devotional meetings and study circles, and a new believer class.

Special events will be held for youth and pre-youth. Children's Classes will again be a strong part of the summer school program. Music, Music, Music!
