Mississippi School of the Arts is located in the center of a small, quiet city. The beautiful historical campus has pleasant walking areas with many shade trees. A small recreation area for playing basketball is available outside. The dormitory facilities are excellent. There are two rooms to a suite, sharing a single bathroom. Participants must bring linens and toiletries
Housing fees for adults, youth and children:
$10 per room/night, double or triple occupancy
$20 per night, single occupancy.
Adults 70 and above - free
Children 5 and under - free
Meals available for purchase in the school cafeteria.
Vegetarian choices available.
Lunch: $7.00, Dinner: $7.00, Breakfast: $4.50
Total cost of meals for entire weekend: $30
Possible scholarships available. Please request from nearest LSA or the Summer School Committee prior to deadline date for registration.
Registration fee: $10 per person – deadline May 22. ($15 per person after deadline.)

School will begin on Friday evening with a potluck dinner followed by a devotional meeting. On Saturday their will be two main sessions (a.m. and p.m.), for adults, followed by a third session Sunday morning. Break out sessions will be offered to enhance the curriculum. Classes will be available for children, jr. youth and youth. Classes take place in the historically renovated Johnston Institute
