Special Guests: Shannon Javid, member of Regional Bahá’í Council of the Northwestern States, on “Stories of ‘Abdu’l-Baha”; Sandra Hutchison, faculty of the Wilmette Institute and former researcher for the Universal House of Justice, on “How to Read the Letters from the Universal House of Justice” (will include drama!)

Attendees will study the example of Abdu’l-Bahá and a systematic approach to reading the Writings to better enable them to internalize the Writings and to better exemplify the ideals of the Faith.

Friday night Q & A with the presenters, followed by “jam” session with drumming and dancing! Bring your instruments.

Sports include tennis, baseball and basketball. The campus also allows for hiking and meditation.

Dormitory rooms and meals are provided. Facilities for families with infants and special needs are available.

Theme: “The Destiny of America”

Description: Solomon Hilton is a 7 day family oriented summer school with classes on the Holy Text, devotions, fellowship and recreation following the guidelines laid out by the Guardian

Facilities: Kent School is a private boarding high school with dormitory facilities and cafeteria meals. It has a large campus with fields swimming pool and gymnasium for recreation, with modern facilities for classroom instruction.
